Helping Parents Help Children Stay On The Right Track
Parents need answers and solutions to help their children. Parents, like you, want a simple program that can be implemented at home to supplement what your child is not getting in school and, as the case may be, offset what your child is getting in school that is not in your child’s best interests. As parents, we must be objective and realize that public schools are a melting pot of diverse agendas and people. We cannot watch every step our children take in school, nor be sure they only associate with others that we approve of. However, if we set a good example and proper tone at home for them it will carry over with them into school.

The Stepping Stones increases your child’s self-confidence, awareness, creativity, intellectual ability and overall best potential in life.
The Stepping Stones decreases adverse peer-pressure (APP), and helps to decrease the conflict, tension and frustration that many parents and children experience as children mature.

Introduction
The Children and Parents Network (CPN) is an educational and motivational network of dedicated individuals who believe that all children in the 21st century deserve every advantage and opportunity to reach their greatest potentials in life. Parents are intended to be and usually are the primary role models for their children. Parents and the home environment are significant contributing factors to how well adjusted and successful a child may be in life.
CPN is the combined result of more than sixty years of extensive research in education, more than thirty years of teaching experience in public and private settings in both traditional and special needs circumstances and more than fifty years of real time parenting.
Raising children and watching them grow and mature; interacting with educators, listening to students and teaching them; listening to parents voice their concerns as they struggle to guide their children from infancy through the public school system and beyond. These factors and others became the motivation for establishing CPN and for creating: Stepping Stones to Success ~ A Parenting Guide. It is important for parents to remember that problems often times are unrecognized opportunities. Recognizing opportunities is the path to solutions.
