Please be reminded that ICAHN is supporting MICAH ... A Campaign to end LI Poverty. ICAHN members should try to attend (or send a representative) to one of the MICAH Orientation Workshops. For us, it would be either:

1. Sept. 7, Friday, 9:30 am Breakfast Workshop - Our Lady of The Miraculous Medal Church on Straight Path in Wyandanch;



2. Sept.10, Monday, 6:00 pm Supper Workshop - Our Lady of The Miraculous Medal Church on Straight Path in Wyandanch; OR



3. Sept.10, Monday, 12:00 pm Luncheon Workshop. This workshop will serve as our September ICAH meeting.

You can register by e-mailing your name (and 1 or 2 other attendees from your congregation) to robinson.mary@cathoiccharities.cc. Please register by August 31st so we can order the food and prepare the packets. There is no fee for the workshops.

At the workshop, you will receive a rich packet of prayer, liturgical, educational and advocacy materials to engage your congregation in the MICAH campaign.

ICAHN will meet in early October to plan our involvement.

I hope your summer has been restful. Please plan to attend one of the Orientation Workshops so we can gear up for this important project.
